2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, California 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"), via the Cloudflare Pages service. Cloudflare also provides DNS, CDN and DDoS protection for this domain. When you visit the website, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information that your browser transmits, including:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status / HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Website from which the request originates (referrer)
  • Browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software

The legal basis for processing this data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and functional provision of this website (including protection against attacks). Cloudflare may transfer data to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers an adequate level of data protection. We have additionally concluded a Data Processing Addendum with Cloudflare that includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 3. Contact

This website does not include a contact form. If you contact us by email (e.g. by clicking the email link on the contact section), the data you provide in your message (your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message) will be processed by us solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry and any follow-up communication.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).
Storage period: we keep email correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle your request, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. tax law).

4. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use third-party cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. Should this change in the future, we will adjust this privacy policy and, where required, request your consent via a cookie banner.

5. Analytics, tracking, marketing

We currently do not use any web analytics services (such as Google Analytics), advertising trackers (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tracking) or social media plugins on this website. Should this change, we will update this privacy policy in advance and obtain your consent where required.

6. Server log files

As described in section 2, our hosting provider Cloudflare automatically processes server log information for the purpose of operating this website and protecting it against attacks. We do not maintain separate log files outside of what Cloudflare processes.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in the address bar of your browser and the lock icon.
